Hello,

i have a little problem with 2ch and 6ch ogg muxed in a single ogm file. alltime i switched the audio my player crash. ;( so i searched the forum and found a interessting thread, but not the solution :(

http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=32098&highlight=2ch+6ch+ogm

i tried mpc/zp prof/bsplayer/tcmp. all the same, first track played very well second crashed the play. i stared bsplayer with -as2 and it crashed. so i switched the audiotracks, first the 6ch , second the 2ch and got the "fastplayback problem" ,( also described in the above thread. i also unregister mmsfilter but, it also didnt help. so i tested the ogm on my xbox and it work. i cant switch between the 2 audiotracks and it sound well. any idea why 2 differen audiotracks crash all windowsplayer ?

my setup: video: xvid, 1. audio: 2ch 48khz ogg 2. audio: 6ch 48khz ogg (both made with besweet and different quality setting 1. 0,05 2. 0,00)
i muxed the ogm with virtualdub mod. used the latest version of all tools.

a ogm with both tracks in 6ch or 2ch works fine. also in the thread dspguru wrote he planed writing a plugin for besweet that could make a 6ch audio from 2ch with silenced in the missing channels. did he made it ? i couldnt find anything about that ;( is there another tool that could do something like this ?

thx for all help

Hmm, I think this is a well known problem of OggDS, because the internal stream switching of the Ogg filter.

You might want to try-out enabeling all streams within the Ogg Splitter ...

MPC gets confused when the Ogg Splitter is in that mode...

Hmm i didnt know what u mean with confused, it works. The only little annoying think is, if u like to switch the audiotrack u need to do it twice: 1. in oggsplitter 2. audiotrack in mpc but i can life with that at the moment.
