View Full Version : Maestro Playlist Info Needed...

I am working on an original compilation for someone in Maestro. Yes, it has to be Maestro. I wish it didn't but it does. Anyway, I've seen that Maestro seems to ignore "End Actions" on chapters. That's fine with me. I can work with that. However, when I use the navigation simulator to check the disc layout, it will play the playlist and then just STOPS. It does not seem to return to where it came from or anything. Since it ignores "End Actions", I seem to not be able to set up a command sequence on it. Can someone let me know how to direct the end of a playlist back to the menu or to a command sequence? Thanks!

Ok, this turned out to be a really stupid question. I have not had much of a need for playlists in Maestro until this compiliation. Anyway, for anyone wondering, the only way to set an "End Action" on a playlist is to go to the "Connections" tab and then select the playlist in the Tree View.

Well, it's not so much something "arbitrary" as it is by design. I was just not aware at first. The playlist ignores an "End Action" assigned to a chapter that's in the main clip. I see now, however, this is intentional.
