Hi,

I've created a .mkv Matroska movie (XviD, Vorbis) with no subtitles.

When I try to play the file in Media Player or Gabest's MPC, I got this error from VSFilter 6 times:

"Wrong file version!"

I have no subs in this file, so I don't understand why this error is coming up. The movie plays okay after I have clicked on OK 6 times.

How can I fix this?

One other thing, I'm using VSFilter 2.27. I've downloaded 2.29 but I don't know where to put the .dll file?

Thanks for your time.

Don't you have a *.idx file next to the mkv with the same file name beginning?

To install dvobsub 2.29 run "regsvr32 vsfilter.dll" from command-line.

Thanks, Gabest.

I didn't know you could regsvr .dll files.

I deleted the .idx and it works.

Thanks again.
