Hi there all !!

I'm facing a strange problem. Dont now of course if is easy to solve.
I'm a niewby.

I copied Brotherhood of the wolf which gave me a hard time.

The actual movie was in VTS_07_xx.vob and VTS_08_xx.vob.

So if i copy the movie using DVD Fab or IFOEdit (split to 2 Disk) the software only takes VTS_07_xx.vob - in result the copy is not the full movie but around to 60%.

Following the helpful tips from this forum i ripped only the VTS_07_xx.vobs and VTS_08_xx.vobs and after i renamed them into VTS_01_01.vob, VTS_01_02.vob etc.

Using the IFOEdit i created new IFO's and the movie worked like a dream in PowerDVD. The only minor problem was green unreadable subtitles which was solved by copying the subtitle colour from the original .ifo.

After playing the movie in PowerDVD i noticed that the connection point between the old VTS_07_xx.vobs and VTS_08_xx.vobs (now called VTS_01_05.vob) is around 178K size and is a SPRUCE Technologies Logo.

So while playing the movie you can see for around one second this logo which in case is quite annoying.

Has this ever happened to any of you ?

And if, how can i get rid of it ?

Thanking you in advance.

first, wait longer than 3hrs before complaining that noone has answered your post.

second, menus reside in *_0.VOB and VIDEO_TS.VOB, the *_1.VOB and higher are for the title, you have obviously included the VTS_08_0.VOB when you moved vobs around.

when a disc is authored with DVDMaestro, the first title in each of the menu VOB's is a still saying "spruce technologies.

I authored the DVD with IFOedit.

This is the strange where the Spruce Logo appeared.

the original disc you copied from was authored in dvdmaestro, you have used the _0.VOB's when you have reauthored when you shouldnt have.
