The problem is that if you try to open the *.avs file with WMPlayer, BSPlayer or VirtualDub (mod or not) it repots you an error window.
How to solve it?
Just opening the *.avs with the notepad and adding:
[Before] LoadPlugin="mpeg2dec3.dll"
[After] LoadPlugin="c:\Program files\gordian knot\mpeg2dec3.dll"
in my case it should be c:\Archivos de programa\... (spanish users only)
So for the next release of GKnot this problem should be solved for saving time in opening files and for not having to change it manually.

Bye, bye folks ;)

From your problem description, it appears you may not have set the paths properly in Gknot's Program Path tab.

thanks that helps me :)

i have tried to set the program path but just the bottom one (where u select the path for mpeg2dec.dll) is all white and i cant type in it, if i hit browse i can browse to the folder and when i click ok nothing happens. with all the other programs it worked fine.

any idea whats up?

I'm hesitant to reply to this, as I'm having problems myself with the latest version of g-knot. But I ran into the same problem; what path are you using? I ended up using the path to g-knot as opposed to going directly to the program path like all the others and it worked.
