Converted 1 hour DV to m2v+mpa using Adobe Mpeg Encoder (in Premiere). It took 4 hours on my 1.6G CPU.
Then I imported .m2v and .mpa to DVDit and it took another 3-4 hours to encode them to DVD format.
As m2v and mpa are already DVD compliant, I don't understand why DVDit processes video and audio again.
Am I doing anything wrong? Is there a better way to convert DV to DVD?
