I have used the Big 3 to backup "the godfather 1". It is my first attempt using the big 3, and have followed the instructions for "full DVD backup guide" on doom9 and "Quality DVD Backup Guide" on dvdr-digest. It has worked very well and I'm well pleased with the results. However, when using the scene selection function in the title menu, chapter 1 to 14 start in the wrong place and if I select chapter 15 or above I get a copyright screen and after a few seconds it returns to the title menu. I have examined the .ifo files and can't see anything obvious. Please help.

PS. I have read a thread (Seamus 6th August 2003)with a similar problem that was resolved by changing "the still to a 10 frame slideshow in Scenarist". whatever that means (please excuse my ignorance).

I have resolved the problem. I was making a mistake when updating the ifo files in ifoupdate.

So all you senior members can stop rushing to my assistance before someone gets hurt in the stampede :)

Put me down for this one too.

I just gave the big 3 a try for the first time on a fairly simple title (Psycho), and my chapter marks were off when I put it all back together.

I brought the raw files from Scenarist into PowerDVD and the chapter marks are on the money.

That IFOUpdate step is confusing...I'll have to take another whack at it, I guess...

Ok, got mine fixed too. Followed the last page of the guide at http://www.dvdr-digest.com/articles/24_5.html. I'll have to take a look at the one here at doom9 (the guide I initially followed) to figure out where I messed up...
