NuMenu4u can use before or after big 3 ?

i have finished using big 3 on sopranos but it is like 13 megs too BIG! so the easiest way to take off a few megs would be the menus! but im having major problems using this program... is it because i need to use it before i do the big 3?

using before or after does not matter, but there are many issues with the versions released so far - but please be patient. the new version is just around the corner

okay i was not sure what the problem was... ill wait and see.... in the mean time what is the easiest fastest way to decrease menu size... i just need like 15 megs... cause thats how much im too big! :-)

You can use dvd2one/dvdshrink etc to just reduce the menu in size a little bit.

okay im a noob when it comes to dvd to dvdr... then how do i make it work with the ones i already have... i know copy the vob i need over to the directory with all the other files.... do i need to do ifoupdate again or anything else?


i used dvd shrink to bring the size down and copied the vob into the directory... but can i just image and burn or do i have to do something else?

Shrink your menu vob. Keep the original somewhere safe. Copy over the shrinked one. Do Get VTS sectors in ifoedit just to be sure.

okay i did that then used the vob from dvdshrink and copied it over the authored vobs from the big 3

then i used ifoupdate to update. selected original as the authored and authored as the dvdshrink directory... that did not work.. i get a menu that lets you select one option then when goto the next the video palys then the menu goes nuts!

i undid that then used the original ifo for original and the big 3 authored ifo... and i still get the same result...

im not sure what im doing wrong but this is taking too long and im just going to start over with the big 3 and lower the avg bitrate a little for each PGC.

im using the doitfast4u cce values... and burning to dvd+r

how do i make sure that doitfast4u get the menu size right and resizes the rest of the disc accordingly...

Well I said IFOEDIT to get VTSsectors (open your video_ts.ifo and press the button) not IFOUPDATE (I assume you already used ifoupdate after scenarist)
