i KNOW that this has been addressed in other posts... or at least similar problems.. but for some reason nothing i tried worked.

Heres whats going down. i can rip and etc the subs.. but when i try to play them back with vobsub (with an avi) it crashs the program.. saying something is wrong with rundll or something.

is there somethign i can do to fix this..(right now i run the subbed movies in win98... (i cant use xp on my machine)

Without knowing exactly what rundll is failing, I cannot tell you what one to get. ;-) Try going to dllworld and finding a new / updated rundll ( find the one that is displayed in your error message ). Backup your old rundll and rename the new rundll to match
the old one. You might have to try different rundll's.

You might also try reverting to an older / newer version of VobSub.
