I was trying to use DVD2AVI to decode a ripped file, but encountered a strange problem. During the first approx 5 minutes resulting image is divided into 2 halfs - in the left halfs there're starting credits, in the right half is the starting part of the movie itself. The same problem is present at the end of the movie. There are strong In fact this problem is present when I use other MPEG2 decoders - ffdshow libmpeg2 and that thing that reads vobs directly into .avs (mpegdec avisynth plugin, if i remebered correctly). The file is rendered correctly with Intervideo MPEG2 decoder in graphedit. Is there a solution to this problem? (FlaskMpeg?). Can I encode output from Intervideo decoder in graphedit? If so, how?

Strange. I've never heard anything like this before.
About GraphEdit: If it renders correctly when you play a .grf file in the mediaplayer(Render the vob in GraphEdit, save it as .grf and play it in MediaPlayer 6.x), then you can try to change the name to .avi and open the file with AVISource/DirectshowSource in AviSynth or just open the file in VirtualDub directly. (Render the vob in GraphEdit, save it as .grf and play it in MediaPlayer 6.x)

I tried to use Directshow source (the following line in avs file
DirectShowSource("ww.m2v",fps=25,seek=false)), but the problem still exists - during the starting credits image occupies approx 1/4 of the total frame, 3/4 of the frame is black. Actually, there's another glitch with this movie - when i play it using WinDVD on the TV the image occupies 1/4 of the screen then in like 2-3 seconds image is adjusted and normal fullscreen playback begins. Any suggestions?
PS. Sorry for bad english, i hope i wrote everything clear %)
