I'm building a HTPC with VCR function, i'm thinking of using the Adaptec VideOh! PCI card (Artnr: 1980300ENFR). Its nice because it's cheap and has hardware mpeg2 decode possibilties, witch is good since im going to use a mini-itx system, wich has a slow C3 CPU running at 2 ghz.
Does anyone have any experience in this card? Is the quality good? And most of all, does it use WDM drivers? I'm going to use a menu fron end sytem called myHTPC, and their "VCR program" called "Tv-Plugin" only work with WDM driver cards, and i havent been able to find any data about this.
Thanks in advance, Anders
