Using all the latest of the big three (DIF4U 1.3, DoCCE4U 1.0.1.5, ReAuthorist 1.0) Win XP, Scenarist Pro, AviSynth 2.08, CCE 2.66.01.07

Done at least 25 of the Big Three conversions, had some problems like everyone does, but solved them. This one I think I can eliminate, but would rather solve, or at least confirm that it can not be solved...

When importing the files from Shanghai Knights, NTSC, Reg 1, into Scenarist I get the error import failed. When checking the import log, the error is as in the title for VTS_01_P03.I-TFF-UFF.16~9_1.MPV. Now when I play that file, I se that it's size is 720x540 rather than the standard (and rest of the video files) 720x480. Additionally, the FPS is 24.000 The original (pre-CCE) file is also 720x540, but is a 25 FPS file.

It is a short (32.032 seconds long) clip that is the same as another clip in the film. I guess it is a second angle, although I can't prove it with the original DVD. Why would it be in PAL format though? And is there any way to keep it? Finally, if not, what is the best way to remove it?

TIA.

*sigh*

FWIW I was able to circumvent the problem by just not encoding the PGC. Hoever, I feel like I'm cheating that way.
