Im using the dvd2avi method of making a svcd and im at te adding subtitles step, i have the filter loaded and everything the guide said to do. Then it says to just leave Virtual Dub open and the next step is encoding the file in cce. Will the subs work correctly or is there something i should do like save the video file with the filter on it in Virtual Dub?:confused: :confused:

Actually, the next step is to setup a frameserver with Vdub. That's basiclly a system that lets you pretend to have saved the file, but without using the disk space. Vdub will create a small pointer file that you can open in CCE. To CCE it will appear to be a big video file, but really Vdub will be creating the video "on the fly" and sending it to CCE. You need to leave Vdub open while it's frameserving to CCE.

As far as the subtitles go, the video will appear exactly as you see in in the Vdub preview window. If you setup the Vobsub filter correctly you should be able to see the subtitles.
