Hi!
I burned a DVD with a DVDMaestro project and when a I play it using a DVD software player I get a black screen. I set the first play connection to the one of both menus my project has. And this menu has three buttons, with just one connected. And it points to the only movie my project has. It seems to be a mess, but this project is just for testing.
But anyway, I get this black screen when I play the DVD. Does anyone know whatīs happening? Is there something else I have to set ot configure?

Thanks!

What happens if you manually press the play button when you get the black screen?

When I press the play button nothing happens... And when I press the menu button nothing happens too...
I ripped the ifo from the my original dvd and from the one I burned and then I compared both. In dvd-r's ifo I found many entries that are not present in the original dvd's ifo. And some that I think are not necesary. Since DVDMaestro let you work with 8 audio files and 32 subtitles I found all these entries in the ifo file.

How could I know if the conections are ok in the dvd-r's ifo file?
What do I have to check in the dvd-r's ifo file?

Thanks!

I don't know how you could check your project to see if it's ok. Doesn't maestro's preview work? You should at least be able to see if your menus are working

Well, I could find and solve the problem...
It was because of the menu. First I tried setting the first play event to my first movie and, after compiling, I played the ifo using a DVD software player and bingo, the movie appeared.
My problem was that I tried to build a menu using a 1sec. m2v file as background and a 4bit compressed bmp file as subpicture. It didnīt work.
My solution was to replace all of these with just a 2layer psd file, with the first layer as background and the second as subpicture.

But I still wonder what happened with my first try... Anyone knows?

Thanks!

There are too many threads around, pointing to the fact that Maestro doesn't handle well the 1frm .m2v's...It just doesn't work, so the solution is NOT to use them...
