problems with dvd2svcd

I have just been intoduced by a friend to dvd2svcd and am having poroblems we cant figure out i cant get it to on choosing a avi file i have not gotten the go sign on anything i have loaded or tried to load can someone help me i am probably just not doing somerthing simple any help would be appreciated

first off, slow down a little! periods can help your sentences :)

second, there is a guide (http://doom9.org/mpg/dvd2svcd.htm) for this program, and an FAQ (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=21859) that you were already supposed to have read.

to load an avi file, in the misc tab, at the bottom, select avi for input type...it's that simple :)

please do read those links i gave you before you ask another question.
