Online DVDR stores for us Canadians!

After quite a bit of searching I finally found some decent online shops for getting DVDR discs, I'm mainly interested in Ritek DVD-R. I got tired of all those currency exchanges and border fees! Not to mention those UPS bastards and their brokerage fees! :)

Well ordered the DVD-R's on the 13th from myeshop.ca, they arrived on the 14th! Next day shipping with only $20! I found ordering from there with taxes and shipping added it came to approx $227, where ez-buy.com had free shipping, but still added tax on top and came to approx. $240..

Just burned a few discs, they are definately Ritek G03's, burning them at 2x no problems, and play fine! At $190/100 pack CAN this is a very good deal! Mainly because it's in Canada and no extra fees are involved

I ordered the cases the same day with 1-2 day delivery, only $7 for that! Should have arrived on the 15th but with the blackout no mail was working, so I should have them monday..

I'll definately be ordering my stuff from these stores from now on!

Ritek G04's cheap! i've never used them before, but they're selling a 100 disc spindle for $195

try www.shop4tech.com who has many great review and comment from Canada users and they ship out by post office which does save you import tax and they have very aggressive price as well!!

Please stop with your shop4tech peddling. Every post I have seen from you is advertising this place.. is this not against the forum rules?? Are there any mods around watching this? Do a search on the nick for all posts made

I used to buy my discs from there, but no more! Want to know why? Since you obviously work for them, pass this along!

First order I placed, 100 discs + 100 cases. 3 weeks went by and nothing. I sent an email to sales for a whole week with no reply! I sent at least 4-5 emails! Finally I phoned and they actually admitted to getting my emails, why no reply?! They said (lied) that my order was shipped out already, but to be nice they will next day fedex it to me. Got the fedex shipment, original never arrived.

Second order, thought what the hell one more time.. same thing happens! This time I phoned alot quicker! Again, original package never arrived, only replacement.

And now I check there, shipping prices are minimum $50 to canada for crappy USPS ground shipping, no tracking! And over $70 for air! Sorry, very rediculous shipping rates. Exchange that to Canadian $$, and I'm paying a crap load per disc. And to top it off, I have to also pay border fees. No thank you.

Shop4Tech sells the Ritek G03's, never had any problems with the discs themselves, but I had a hell of alot of trouble with the company. I appreciate the next day fedex, but I don't appreciate getting lied to, and having to wait. Just lost a customer who buys ALOT of discs
