I know you can use IfoEdit and Copy2Clipboard to do this with each section of an .IFO file, but it's a little cumbersome.
Is there any tool that does it one shot?

Bump...
FYI, I've written a keyboard macro that uses IFOEdit v0.95 to do just this. I've compiled it to an .EXE and it's working pretty well for me under Windows 2000. I can run it, let it do its thing for a few minutes and have a full DVD worth of .IFO files written to text.
Couple these text dumps with a diff program (original vs. modified)...good for debug and analysis; especially if you're into modding .IFO files.
Obviously, raw reading/writing would be better, but I don't know .IFO file structures, so it's better than nothing.
The following people can PM me for a copy to play with (it's a 400k file):

I'll email it out in the morning. Please do not PM me for a copy if you are not on the above list. I'm sure if it works well enough, we can get a public copy up by the weekend.
Here's a snapshot of the GUI:
IFOToText v0.1.0 beta (http://galleries.vinyamar.com/ps/show.php?id=QTwo4zVoYbSAFroPbOtzGm3vE)
p.s. - It has a few bugs, but nothing too inhibitive... :)

Curious - What tool was this macro written in and compiled?
I was looking at using a tool called AutoMate Pro to create some macros of my own.

jfcarbel...
I used a tool called O'Basic (http://www.obasic.com). I've played with Automate in the past, but once you get to know the O'Basic API, you can whip up scripts pretty quickly.
Plus, you can't beat the cost... ;)

don't get this program working properly under xp, follow all the steps and hit go it finds and opens IFOEDIT with the open file window and then stops if you select a file in this window (thought it would open and process them all one by one automatically). However it may case it doesn't, ifoedit open window closes and that it stop. If you then close ifoedit and open task manager you see that the ofotxt program is still in in the memory but no activity. If you run it again then it starts to fiddle around doin weird things and aborts with an error code, ???? What am I doing wrong ?
