Sorry if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find anything in this forum using search.
Seeing as DVD burners are becoming cheap and more and more people are getting them, maybe it would be a good idea to have a comparative test (like the excellent codec tests) of the quality of the various backup programs (say DVDShrink, DVD2One, Nero Recode, Pinnacle Instantcopy, CCE method, TMPGEnc, etc...)?
This would be very helpful for people to be able to choose between all the different methods (balancing speed and simplicity of use vs quality).
