Hi all,

I encounter this error when IC processing my VIDEO_TS.IFO file:
"The System can't find the file specified (80070002)"

The steps:
- Decrypt from DVD using DVDD: File mode/Select All/Decrypt
- Make pdi image to HD using IC7.03: Unchecked unwanted titles, audio streams and subtitles/Entered corresponding figures to record.xls downloaded from Mr.X's guide website/Start
- Convert pdi files to dvd files using PDITool
- Tested on InterVideo WinDVD player on pc, everything Ok.
- Open new VIDEO_TS.IFO in IC: error happened IC processed file 2 of 6.

Anybody know what can I do to fix this?

Thanks a bunch!

Hi,

got the same error.

Why do you want to open the Video_TS.IFO again?

Note: This is just a note for those do search for the same problem I had and hope to find a solution within this thread

Ok, found what's wrong a while ago. Didn't have time to update it until now. Here it goes...

It was because IC completely deleted the vts_0x_1->n.vob when I unchecked the titles related to those VTS files. After converting the PDIs back to DVD video files, in a new VIDEO_TS folder, the content of the folder would have less files than the original one. Because some VTS_0X_1.VOB, VTS_1X_1.VOB & VTS_1X_2.VOB were deleted by IC. IC did not update VIDEO_TS.IFO to reflect the change. So when I did the second run on the new VIDEO_TS.IFO in IC, the missing VOB came back to haunt IC.

So, if u wanna do the second run thing as shown in MackemX's guide here (http://www.deano.dsl.pipex.com/backup/ics.htm), do not uncheck the title. Strip the particular title down first using IFOEdit, etc. b4 doing the first run in IC so that its size is small enough to be ignored.

Oh ya, fashion, u now should know why I did the second run if u have taken a look at the guide by MackemX.
