I have a problem. Instant Copy 7 sometimes does not copy the video_ts.vob file. But my SA Player (Toshiba SD 330E) needs this file. Without video_ts.vob it doesn`t want to play the DVD.

So I did the following:

I extracted the *.pdi to iso with PDI2ISO. Then I mounted this image with Daemon Tools and copied all files to my HD. So I have the ifo, bup and vob files. Then I copied a video_ts.vob (made by myself in DVD Producer, size about 10 kB) to the folder in wich I extracted the DVD-files. Then I loaded the video_ts.ifo in IfoEdit and pressed "Get VTS sectors". Ifo edit told me that it has corrected the ifo-File. Now when I try to burn this new files with Nero, it says to me that the some files does not belong to the ifo-File.

What is wrong? Do I have to use the original video_ts.vob file? Or is there something wrong in IfoEdit?

Or is there another way to get the video_ts.vob in my DVD-Image?

Please help me.

Thanks!

Interesting one that - I never tried but assume if your new menu VOB has the same number of buttons and exactly the same commands you might get it working.
The table for Menu Attributes may need correcting.
Keep trying...

Use a different burning tool for DVD.
Nero is the last choice for DVD burnings :sly:

I would use Nero in the DVD UDF/ISO mode and copy both VIDEO_TS & AUDIO_TS directories and it should work fine. I use Nero to burn all of my DVD's and it's flawless.

It's funny that Alot of people have had this problem of IC not copying the video_ts.vob file but I have never run into this problem. what do you use to extract your files from the .pdi set?
