i just reinstalled windows and since i did my Liteon LTD122 DVD rom has a very hard time reading my DVD+R media, which sucks because i cant copy DVD to DVD. It is odd though, when i put in one of my DVD+R video DVDs windows brings up the launch deal but when i try to load a movie in WinDVD or PowerDVD it will either do nothing, play a little bit of the movie and stop and a couple of times now it has played the movie just fine. In DVD decrypter i get errors that say "UDF file system parsing faild" and "FINDPARTION returned 0"
note; before i reinstalled windows i didnt have any problems with DVD+Rs in the drive.

No clue, but maybe new aspi-drivers help?
You can find something like checkaspi or forceaspi in doom9's download-area.

What OS are you actually running?
Have you installed newer versions of any programs since you've rebuilt? What burning software do you have on your machine? Many of them load filter drivers that 'can' mess things up.

Hard to post a reply when you post the same question in two different forums at the same time. Now I have to copy my reply in the other forum and paste it here and thats hard work for my poor fingers ;)
Have you checked in device manager, under ide/ata controllers, that it uses DMA. If it says PIO or something like that you should try to activate DMA.
