Before I press the Get VTS sectors from ifoedit, I can use WinDVD software to check any problems of playing the movie in which all ifo and vob files are located on hard drive inside Video_TS folder.

So, after I check everything is playing fine using WinDVD, and I remembered i should use the Get VTS sectors to make sure all ifo files are rightly pointed to each ifo file. However, after doing this, WinDVD can't play it.

So, the question is in what situation do i need to use Get VTS sectors? Since, i can play the movie perfectly without pressing Get VTS sectors, so that I can skip this step or not.

Thanks.

That is strange. This button shouldn't effect WinDVD in any way.
Cause WinDVD should be using the ISO FS, and shouldn't care about start sectors.

You need the button just if you're going to burn a DVD.

Me neither, but it seems if i follow other people's guide of editing the ifo, the Get VTS sectors are fine and windvd are fine to play with. Probably due to my inexperienced knowledge about the ifo structure and manipulate the way to wrong setup.
