In some cases, dvd has VTS_PGC_1 AND VTS_PGC_2 and their stream look almost the same. If they are the same format and same movie, why structure need two sets of PGC. Are they necessary to have this structure because of different audio set as for this instance, it has four audio languages, English 6 and 2 channels, and Japanese 6 and 2 channels.
thanks for anyone to explain the format as i want to get more understanding of this thing.

Don't worry about it...it's the way it was authored. All people who has backup alot of DVDs will tell you that not all DVDs are the same. They could've been authored into two separate titlesets and it would've worked also. There are many ways to go about having a working DVD structure.

I see. I just curious about the way they structured. Because PGC1 has two more cells in front than PGC2 and these are just a blank cells.
If they are same format, that will make me easier to set the entry start sector. However, when I set entry start sector to diff number from PGC1, dvd-shrink would not recognize the main movie. That could be the reason because of the front two bland cells' sector # is not sequential to the number i set for cell#3. So, I still got this problem to solve before I can use DVD-Shrink. Otherwise I have to keep the trailer before the movie as I told you before that the trailer and the movie are in same vob stream and same vob id, unable to strip it.
