View Full Version : Error in DVD Shrink using IFO created by IFOedit

for no good reason I've tried running the DVD files created by VobEdit and IFOedit (after merging of VOBs) through "DVD Shrink 2.3", but at the position where the 2 VOBs had been merged by VOBedit (and consequently IFOedit to create the IFOs), following error appears during "Analysing DVD":

"DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue this operation.

invalid nv_pck: nv_pck_lbn

The reason is: Unknown"

I'm not sure as to where to place this question, but I assume it is more a VOBedit or IFOedit problem.
Any idea what could be wrong with the DVD files?
(the files perfectly play in "PowerDVD" and after burning on my Standalone, but only with some trouble in "WinDVD")

I have the same problem. I even tried using IFOEdit MenuExtra option to fix the navigation pack, but it crashes IFOEdit instead. Do you have any success?

@carbotex

I posted a possible solution in your other thread (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&postid=353396#post353396).

By the way, if you created new IFOs with IFOedit, there are no menus. You don't need to go into your Menu Extras options. This could explain your IFOedit crash.
