Hi,
I keep hearing everyone mention these "ritek" dvd-r and how good they are. Where is the best place to buy online the Ritek DVD-R?
and if there is more than one type , which one to buy?
Thank you
-Ryan

if you fill in your location, or tell us where you are, i'm sure someone can help you.

There wouldn't appear to be many places selling ritek branded discs, but a lot of people rebrand them and sell them as their own.

I get the feeling you're american though... :D

You can get very reasonable Ritek re-brands here : http://www.blankdiscshop.co.uk/acatalog/catalogbody.html
Hope this helps - :D

www.shop4tech.com selling them at $1.34 per disc free shipping and handling on 100 pack

www.meriltline.com selling them at $1.27 per disc plus "shipping" on 100 pack

there are many companies carry ritek, depends on what you are looking for on speed!!

You can also try rima.com, both the Ritek and Ridata (Ritek) are the same disc BTW.

flaystus, thanks for the tidbit! I was just ordering some more Riteks from Rima and noticed the RiData and got concerned. I use the printable ones, and love em.

I don't know for USA, but in Europe Arita is Ritek's brand name,
and also Traxdata.

I should probably start a new thread but, do you have to have a special printer to print on printable discs? or will a inkjet work.

I use a EZ/CDprinter (it's an Epson C60 that's been modified). But Epson now sells printers that have CD trays built in, the 900 and 950/960.
