Hi,

I have 13 chunks of movie clips that I cut from several DVDs. I used DVD shrink 2.3 and cut them up by chapters. After this I move all the VOB created by DVD Shrink and rename them to VOBEdit standard (VTS_01_00x.vob). Then I use VOBEdit to join all these chunks together and I use IFOEdit to create IFO file.
This is how the VTS_01_0.IFO file looks like:

VTS overview:

The problem is when I use DVD Shrink again to open up the VIDEO_TS file, it says "Invalid nv_pck: nv_pck_lbn" error message. I'm assuming that the error were caused by having several VOB id in the VTS file. Is there a way to get IFO file that will look like this (I highlighted that part where I want it to change):

You can change VOB /cell ID with MenuEdit (free version, download it here (http://menuedit.dimad.net/download_free.php?MenuEditFree.zip) ).
However even with a lot of VOB IDs your DVD should work (original DVDs too often have more than one VOB ID for the main movie, especially dual layered DVDs). Have your movie clips all the same features (aspect ratio, audio channels...)? If they are different you can't join them in the same titleset.
Another idea: have you tried processing VOBs with IFOEdit in VOB extras selecting "Correct Vob-Unit (Navigation Pack) pointers in VOB files"? This could help you ;)

Thanks Dave82. That's exactly what I need.

I'm still getting the "Invalid nv_pck" error (DVDShrink 2.3) when I try to open the IFO file I created from the step above. Any idea what could have caused the error? Is there anyway to fix the error?

You need to use IfoEdit to correct vob file after you have merged pieces together. Take a look here: http://menuedit.dimad.net/ht_me_replace_cell.html

Especially step 9.

I found out the problem. It has something to do with the ac3's timecode. I did the following to fix the problem:
Demux all audio stream.
Fix each audio stream timecode with BeSliced.
Remux everything back together.

No more error detected by DVDShrink or CloneDVD.

Thanks for the reply.
