hi @all,
I've done some tests to compare DivX Pro 5.0.5, Manihi, and Kauehi (not Tahanea, because I think it don't have so much improvments compared to the new one called Manihi ;) ). to my mind, the quality is very good, in spite speed :( ).
here is a screenshot of a excel file (ok, I'm too lazy to recopy it :D ):
http://easysvcd.free.fr/kframes.GIF
my problem is that there is too much K frames inserted, compared to the old DivX Pro 5.0.5. the scene change threshold is set to 50% and max kframe interval to 250, for all codecs... if I set to 100%, nothing is better
the clip contains 2443 frames, and the AVISynth script is very simple (just MPEGDecoder, Crop, and SimpleResize).
does anyone have the same results  it's really really strange...
(and excuse me for my bad english :D )
