the two problem movies are 20,000 leagues under the sea and swingers

I ripped full movie as I have done over 100 times ran them through DVD2ONE 1.23 as MO and burned with Nero 5.5028.
They both play fine in Power DVD but in my settop DVD player they skip through each chapter to the end and you cannot stop this.

I have changed no settings and movies done after each one of these movies worked fine.

Does anyone have any ideas why this happens.
Is it something in the DVD structure causing this.

What makes you think this is a DVD Decrypter problem?

DVD Decrypter removes CSS, that is all. If DVD2One was able to process the files, DVD Decrypter did its job just fine.

Maybe you should try other methods before pointing the finger?

I placed this thread in two areas here and in one button backups looking for the most exposure.

I did not blame DVD decryptor or any other program. I think its a problem in the dvd structure. I do not know enough to figure this out on my own. I wish to obtain info as to why this happened and how to recognize it before burnning.

Their are two other DVD`s which act differently when they are backed up. they are the second disk in Giant and Gods and generals.
These two DVD`s have a 30 to 45 sec blank screen before the movie begins. What happens is that the DVD skips through the first set of chapters then starts the movie.

I think their is something different in the Structure of these DVD`s being missed and was trying to find out what it is and how to ID the problem.

I`m sorry if you thought this was a negative attack agains DVD decryptor.

Thanks in advance

Is there any chance you could download CloneDVD and try that?

You'll need to rip all the files in File mode for it to process them properly. You can still just take the main movie though.
See if that works ok. If it does, its looking like a DVD2One issue....but then I dont want to go blaming anyone until i'm sure ;-)
