I have been using ImgTool to burn DVDs (+/-R and +RW) for some time now, and the disks have always played fine in all 4 DVD players that I have access to (Yelo, SVA, Naiko and Panasonic)

I have only recently discovered that all DVDs burned with ImgTool since 1.00.5 will no longer play in the Panasonic or SVA. This took me quite some time to track down, but eventually I discovered that reverting to 1.00.4 fixed the problem. It's just a damn shame I'd burned 5 DVD-Rs that I will now have to re-burn :(

Did something happen between 1.00.4 and 1.00.5 to do with the way the program talks to the Nero API? If so, is this behaviour fixed in 1.00.6?

fyi I'm running Nero 5.5.10.42

Otherwise ImgTool is a great tool, and even if I have to stick with 1.00.4 it does the job better than most.

Thanks

Since ImgTool Burn 1.00.5 the default filesystem is set to UDF only. You can change this: Open Settings==>Filesystem Flags and check the ISO box. Press OK then open go to Settings ==> Save Settings. Now the it should work again for player.

I have disabled ISO per default because there were many people who have problems with the ISO part. If ISO is on, you will also get a Joliet Part and this is another problem...

Thanks for replying. Checking the ISO flag fixed my problem and I'm now using 1.00.6.
