password protect cd?

hello all i am interested in finding out if there is a way to password protect cdrs or dvdr that i create i basically want that when a person inserts a cdr into any cpu i want a password prompt to come up asking for user and pass, or pass is ok. i want no pass no access to cd.
i tried the encrypting programs but it either takes too long or it stalls for my movies that are 650MB big.THANX
