I demuxed a video stream from a DVD(file split=none) so as to import it in Maestro and author it with different menus from scratch...
The demux went ok, i had a 6.5GB video file (authoring dual layer) and tried to import it in Maestro. It popped a window saying "Parsing Error"...
I had this problem 2 times before and i think i found the reason/solution about it...
I demuxed with file split=By Vob-ID and worked ok...I placed the videos in the timeline of Maestro and then exported an MPEG file and everything was OK...

The DVD was an anime DVD having 6 episodes...
I used IFOEdit and saw that there were 7 PGC's..
One having all PGC together(using Vob-ID 1,2,3,4,5,6,7)
and each episode having a PGC by using Vob-Id 1,x were x is the number of the episode.(For example ep.2 has vob-id 1,2 and ep.5 1,5) So if someone played one specific episode, a video was playing first(vob-id 1), common for each episode....

Yet, i can't figure out, why the first PGC with ALL the episodes was causing errors in parsing in Maestro...When i ripped by Vob-ID worked OK...

Is this a bug of Decryptor or Maestro's?

Thanks

Well all ripping by vob id does is split the file at a certain point. The contents of both are exactly the same.

Yes, i know, but i was posing the question for academic purposes :)

Anyway, to make things more strange, parsing in Scenarist worked fine...So it has sth to do with Maestro...
