I ran DVD Decryptor on one of my movies, extracted what I wanted, stripped the movie using IFO editor and ran DVD2SVCD on the new IFO of the set of VOBs. The crazy thing is that the first VOB in the set that was Decrypted was from a completely different movie that I do not even own. DVD2SVCD converted all the VOBs but because this set of Video was there it threw off the entire Audio track by at least 5 minutes. Has anyone heard of this or had experience with it?

Though this really doesn't answer your question, it's not a good idea to use DVDDecrypter with DVD2SVCD. We highly recommend you use the internal ripping routines, or, if necessary, vstrip.

I actually have had so much success doing it this way. I can do a lot of manipulations of the movies before I run the conversion. I am now able to make either full backups or SVCD Backups of every movie I have owned.
As an update though, I meant that there is an Extra VOB not IFO. That was my mistake in the previous. In my case it was about 5 minutes of the movie "The Royal Tenibaums" as VTS_01_1.VOB and it had no sound. Once the movie was converted, the sound of my Jet Li movie was off by the length of time of the 1st VOB.
I found a way to work around this problem and am converting fine once again. I am more or less was just wondering if this is some kind of encoding trick the studios are putting in on a few of the movies to throw off someone making backups of their movies. Anyone heard of this?
