what program are you using to convert to vcd, is the vcd viewed from your pc or dvd player, cause on my friend dvd player the picture gets cut off to, i'm guessing it's suppose to do that.

The TV screen cuts about 16 pixels of each border of the picture. Use FitCD resizing to add black borders on the four borders of the picture to avoid this.

Well I used Tmpeg or whatever is called to change the avi into mpeg... and then used nero to make the vcd....when a play the mpg on the computer is the same size than the avi but lower quality,,,, the cutting occurs when the vcd is played on my dvd player (on the tv screen the picture is cut off) is like is too big for the tv screen.... thx

The black bars are made automatically by FitCD.

and where can I get the FitCD program?....
Come on... If you type fitcd in google the first link you get is the fitcd site. shh.dvdboard.de/

Before you ask, fitcd uses AVISynth for resizing, you have to install it (http://www.avisynth.org), you'll end up with a .avs file doing the resizing for you and you'll have to open this avs file in tmpgenc instead of the AVI. If TMPGEnc can't read your avs file, look there : http://www.videotools.net/guides/guide_lockup.php

Hope you'll be able ton encode street fighter II then ;)
