OK im a CCE user, as i love the quality it gives when i have to do a re-encode of a movie.I do movie only back ups,movie,5.1 audio and chapter skip, maybe a sub track if needed.
Now the odd dvd9 i will do a full backup of ,ie.. if its only say 5.30gb or under, still using cce.Aslong as i can get a good bitrate.
But theres the odd dvds here or there that are about 4.5gb, only a little over the dvd5 size. Now these ones im think of using a one click program for as the compression will be minimale.

My question to you is which is the best one to use, speed dont bother me,Quality does.So im looking at quality.

DVD2One
DVDShrink
IC7

As a quality person you need to "look" at the results for yourself.
DVDshrink is free and the others have a trial version so you can try them out yourself.

For a file set just over the 4.3 limit(10%) you probably can not see the difference with any of those you listed.

I agree with k2 on all counts. I also use CCE for larger movies, but for those "just over the 4.37 gig limit" titles I tend to use DVDShrink, mainly because of the nifty little re-authoring features and it just works so reliably and quickly. As far as I am concerned, at compression levels up to about 15%, I find the differences in compressors almost negligible. Heck, I'd love to donate to DVDShrink if the author set up a Paypal account. :)

Oh yeah, and I bought DVD2One and IC7. I would still consider using DVD2One, but IC7 has too many problems, issues, and bugs, works too slowly, has unpredictable destination size, uses a proprietary ISO format, and, well, just isn't my cup of tea. A lot of other people like it, though, so you might want to consider it despite my lack of enthusiasm.
