I have recently obtained a copy of the first fast and the furious from a friend. It is, as stated in the title, an svcd. I'm assuming that this is one of his older rips as it has the cce watermark on it. I am interested in converting it to DivX and removing the watermark without having to run around the world reencoding it a billion times. Is it possible to do this in one reencode? Any help is appreciated.

**btw** i wasn't sure which section to put this in so if it needs to be moved, please do so.

There are tools to remove logos and watermarks, but they are not perfect. In fact, CCE's watermark is not a watermark in a sense it is not a XOR, just an OR, so removing it will take away part of the picture "underneath" the logo.

(I assume from your queston that it is not just a matter of cropping.)

Anyway, you may be close to breaking rule #6, I think, so please beware.

Thanks for the information and the heads up on the rules. I may be pushing it a bit but can you be any more specific on these "tools" that can be used?

Of course. See this thread:

And also please the search button (Rule 1). I found the above with "removing logo".
