I ripped the "Lost in La Mancha" Bonus Disc to my hard drive using DVD Decrypter 3.1.4.0 then tried to use DVDfab on it.
I select the option to split the entire disc (not movie only) and I select the IFO file. The hard drive spins for a minute and then DVDfab crashes.
Anyone else had this happen? Any suggestions?
(PS - I also tried ripping the disc with SmartRipper and had the same result of DVDfab crashing.)

did you try it with 0.17.0?

I hadn't until I saw your post. But I just did and same thing.
"DVDFab.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." Standards Windows XP error message window.
I also tried with two other DVD rips and same thing. I select the folder where the IFO file lives, it returns to the main screen with the source and destination paths filled in, then crash.
Is there any known software incompatibilities? Like with other DVD tools?
My system is:
Athlon XP 2100+
1 GB RAM
Windows XP Pro (SP1)
Nvidia GeForce 2 AGP video card
Plenty of hard drive space
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Well, apparently, it has nothing to do with the DVD that I'm trying to copy.
I launched the program, selected to copy the entire disk, clicked the Choose button next to Destination path, selected a folder, clicked OK, and the dialog disappears. The selected path now shows in the main window, and then it crashes.
Incidentally, if I click Cancel (instead of OK) on the Destination path dialog, the same thing happens.
Have you ever heard of crashes like this with DVDfab?
Just bizarre.

I don't have Easy CD Creator or any of the other Roxio products installed.
I do have ASPI 4.71.2 installed. I can try with the older ASPI 4.60, though since its crashing just picking a folder on the hard drive, I can't imagine that would be it.
But I can check.

Doesn't appear to be it.
Crashes exactly the same with ASPI layer 4.60
And I just tried dropping the Nero WNASPI32.DLL in the DVDfab folder to see if it would work better with that one. But crashes with that one too.
