CCE to re-encode 4:3 content to 16:9 anamorphic (sidebars)

Hello,

I'm using a projector for video that is configured as a 16:9 projector (anamorphic stretch)

The projector can't switch auto between 4:3 and 16:9 content.

I'd love to add a small 4:3 (PAL) intro to all disks I author. Is there a way I can re-encode the PAL intro to 16:9 anamorphic with black bars, or eventually with top & bottom cropped?

add black bars to the side of the 720x576 frame to make it 1024x576, then resize it to 720x576.
