Hi,

I used DVDdecrypter ISO mode to copy '13th Warrior' to my HD..went fine. I then burned it to a DVD-RW disc on my SONY500 using DVDdecrypter ISO mode that seemed to work ok, except when I play it
on the SONY500 or my stand alone SONY DVD player it plays the FBI
warning & then about 90 seconds of the movie & then freezes.

Also won't play at all in my PIONEER internal DVD player

.....help???

thanks OMM

hello omm, welcome to the forum.

What u r describing sounds more like a file rip than an iso one, but since u r firm on it I have to take it for granted. In this case I would suspect a faulty disc. Check visually if there is any scratches in the bottom of the dvd-r or blurring in the burn. I know its difficult to express the 'blurring' term and I assure you its more difficult to spot one, but usually there is.

U can try also a different standalone if u have such an option. Sony players r famous for their picky behaviour in what disc to play or not.

thank you for your quick reply. I copied to another DVD-rw and all
the devices were able to play it. So I guess it was the first DVD-rw
that was bad(new out of the box of 25)
