Is there a way to determine what the filesize will be with a variable bit rate in CCE?
I'm tired of encoding, seeing with the filesize is, then adding or removing bitrate to get the one I want. V. 2.5

It doesn't exactly tell me good variable bit rate calculations.

for single pass VBR (which you cant enter the average bitrate) you can try the CCE Guesser (search on the forum for it), or take a wild guess.

You could try my mpeg2 calcultor. It's Excel file and it's absolutelly accurate. Of course it works on the bit budgeting point of view, meaning that you enter the length of audio and video streams and it will tell you at what bit rate to encode to fit the DVD disc.

Try FitCD (or Fit2Disc for DVDs). It is incredibly accurate.
(Just in case, OPV encoding does not use a given Avg.BR.)
