Ok, I lied. One more dumb question for you. When using the big 3, after scenarist has finished recreating the vob's, I want to make sure I understand exactly what you can do.

1. Copy the created VOB's (and only the vob's) from Scenarist's folder (/0/Video_TS) to the VIDEO_TS folder that DIF4U created.

2. Run IFOEdit with the approaite settings. Original IFO path == VIDEO_TS folder from DIF4U. AuthoredIFO == Scenarist path (/0/Video_TS). Do this for each authored VTS set.

3. The files in /Video_TS (DIF4U's working folder) are now ready to be burned.

I just want to make sure because before I read up on exactly what IFOUpdate did, I assumed the authored path was the file being edited because of its placement in the GUI, which made this step a little ambiguous.

You might want to run Ifo-Edit afterwards and do a "Get vts sectors" on anyone of your Ifo-updated ifo's. It depends on if you want to do that step in Ifo-update or in Ifo-edit.

don't forget about the "don't copy/update" dummy files and no VIDEO_TS.IFO clause.

Also, I presume that if you just used a software DVD player to verify that things work as they should (as written in the guide) you could've finished your project a lot earlier..
IfoUpdate updates the Original IFO (think about it: the reauthored one is missing important info, for instance there's nothing about menu interaction, only substream positions, stream properties and chapter positions are taken from the Scenarist generated .ifo files), not the authored file.
