According to its website, AVI_IO requires you to make a change to the DC10Plus control window. My problems is that, to my knowledge, I don't have this control window. Here's a link to a picture of it http://www.inetlan.com/avi_io/dc10plus.gif. I'm running Windows XP and Studio 7.15. I seem to remember this control window a couple of years ago when I was running Windows 98.
Does anybody know how to get to this window?
thanks
Jeremy

Been a long time since I've used mine, but IIRC there is a P logo in your taskbar that you click or right click to get that window. XP might be hiding this if you have it set to hide unused items in your taskbar.
If that doesn't do it, check everything studio puts in the start menu, should be there.

I used to have that icon, but I think that may have been when I was running w98. Now I'm wondering if it doesn't show up on xp or maybe I need to reinstall everything.

AVI_IO for the DC10+ is not supported for WinXP. Don't even bother trying.

Can it work if one is using the WDM wrapper?
Oh, and any ideas on my lacking the Pinnacle logo in the systray?
thanks

If you want to use a DC10. Setup a duel boot system and run the DC10 in Win98SE.
It will then work as intended.
There are even hacked DC30 drivers for the DC10 to get "Miro instant video" and Adobe Premier support.
If you dont want to do that you had better start looking for a new capture card.

Owen
