all of centropys releases are pal format (480x576) and i re-encode to 480x480 with tmpg standard ntsc SVCD template. Reason being some of friends dvd players dont support PAL. I then join any given CD's together first then re-encode, then split, encode audio and author to DVD. I am getting same result with each movie (matrix, x2, hulk....) the beginning of movies plays great.. but towards the end of movie blocky artifacts appear and pauses out every now and then. So my question is does anyone know what settings centropy uses to encode there mpegs?
(like bitrate, interlace or non, etc.) Im thinkin this would remedy the problem if i can have settings similar to the source mpeg.

i'm assuming that those are all downloaded movies, cause none of those have been officially release on dvd, maybe with the exception of the matrix, but anyway, it's a violation of forum rule #6
