hey there,
in past I've always normally, using dvd2svcd, ripped svcds/cvds using mp2 audio from divxs or dvds alike. always in past there had been the problem with joining up 2 ac3 files via virtualdub etc, however in the last version of dvd2svcd (updated besweet?) I noticed that was no longer a problem anymore and it could encode the mp2 file without stopping halfway through at the join point.
anyways, now I'm burning dvd-rs, and for some films, I think I would like to keep the ac3 audio.....for real dvds this is not a problem...just keeping the original extracted ac3 files and authoring with them. However, if I keep the ac3 file and try to put that with the m2v video stream in the authoring program (dvd maestro), it reports that the bad frame error is still there so wont allow me to use it.
is there anyway I can fix that ac3 file now? so that I can use the ac3 in my dvd-r? I vaguely remember from months ago, before the ac3 problem in dvd2svcd avis was fixed, attempting to use besplit/bespliced to remove the bad bits, but believe that caused them to go out of sync
any help much appreciated,
Tuck
