View Full Version : How to automatically change Color Palette in Scenarist to match Subrip's 1.17 subs?

After ripping the subtitles with Subrip 1.17 and import them into a Scenarist project, I have to change the Color Palette to match the RGB colors as shown in Subrip's .sst file.
I usually do it manually, opening the .sst file, noting the RGB values and entering them in the Color Palette.
Of course this may take a lot of time, especially ig the RGB values are a lot diferrent from the default color palette.
Is there another way to automate this procedure? Any software or utility or copy n' paste method to help us avoid typing all those RGB values? (For example with Scenchap 1.28 we can insert chapter points in Scenarist all at once. I am looking for something similar for color palette)

Thanks in advance

I would expect the subrip values always to be the same (since you're using the scenarist template)?

Because when you create a new scenarist script and you set the colors of the colourpalette etc on the left hand side of the screen there's a button that says something like save as default. So you fill it in once, save it and the next project the values will already be filled in.

No, Subrip's values come from the original DVD color palette, so they are diferrent in every movie (unless there are "similar" movies like Harry Potter Philosopher's stone and Chamber of secrets)

o ok I never use subrip anymore. But if you use maestro you get a palet file to import with it.
