Hi Guys,

I'm backing up 2 movies and a first play movie to one DVD-r, i've created a First Play Intro Movie, 1 Still Menu and 2 Motion Menu's.

All Movies and Motion Menus encoded using DVD2SVCD( setup for DVD Encoding using CCE 2.50).

The layout is as follow's....

First Play Intro Movie....( with end action set to Menu 1 (Still) )

Menu 1 (Still) 2 Buttons

Button 1..Play (assigned for 2 play both movies 1 after the other)
Button 2..Movie Selection (assigned to MENU 2 Button 1)

Menu 2 - Moition Menu - 3 Buttons

Button 1 .. Play Movie 1 ( using Movie 1 Playlist with Last Chapter end action assigned to Menu 2)
Button 2.. Next Menu ( assigned to MENU 3 Button 1)
Button 3.. Main Menu ( assigned to Menu 1 Button 1)

Menu 3 - Motion Menu - 3 Buttons

Button 1.. Play Movie 2 ( Using Movie 2 Playlist with Last Chapter end action assigned to Menu 3)
Button 2.. Previous Menu ( assigned to Menu 2 Button 1 )
Button 3.. Main Menu ( assigned to Menu 1 Button 1)

When i've finaly done all the importing, chapter's and connecting the buttons i goto the Maestro's Preview player to make sure everything is working, all buttons work the way they are suppose to.

The only thing that doesn't work is is the Motion Menu's themselve's but thats ok cause i did a searching on the forum and found out that Maestro won't play them anyway.

So i goto compile button, save all the settings and let Maestro compile it all together.

When it's finshed i make an .img using ImgTools Ver. 0.89 / Build: May 28 2002, i start Daemon Tools, load the .img and then start PowerDVD and load the Daemon Tools image.

The first Play Movie appears, and at the end it goe's to Menu 1, like it's meant to, both buttons on that Menu work as well, BUT when i goto Menu 2 None of the buttons work at all, but the motion Menu continues to work.

And thats my problem, why does it all work in Maestro but as soon as i Author it it doesn't work.

I've also burnt the Author Vob's to DVD-r thinking that it might be PowerDVD but it still doesn't work on my standalone.

Does anyone know what the problem could be and how to solve it.

Believe me, i've tried to solve it myslef by going over the steps again and again but it still won't work.

I should also mention that the Motion Menu's are the Motion Menu's from the DVD's i'm backing up, but i've had to re-enode them as well as taking away buttons and adding my own.

Any help at all would be welcomed.

Thanks in advance

what r the settings of your motion menu? Still, Loop?

U must set it to loop.

If it still doesn't work u can upload the project only to have a look.

Yep Motion Menu settings on Loop, and it still don't work.

When you mean upload the project, i take it you mean the .dvd that Maestro makes when you save it, and where do i upload it too ?.

I started at the left and went all the way to the right then let go of the mouse button like it says in the instruction manual.

Now what i don't know is, if this is right in setting a loop.

where you have set the slider is where the button selections will start AND it is the point at which it will loop back to when it reaches the end.
