I have converted avi file ( with an ac3 audio ) to SVCD using dvd2svcd (and cce).
The output of this action was the *mpa file and the ac3 audio file.
Using DVD-lab I import the two files and compile the DVD.
The out come was a DVD with audio sync problem.
While using the *mpa and *mp2 files I did not have any sync problem.
Dose any one familiar with this problems?

p.s. I'm using DVD-lab v1.1

try muxing with another program like TMPGENC as see if you are still having this problem.

I'm trying to produce an authored DVD ( VOBs ) with menu etc. from SVCD input ( this can be done using DVDlab w/o re-encoding ) and not a SVCD with ac3 ( is that can be done ?! )
AS I recall the TMPGENC output is mpeg and not an authored DVD.

As far as I can remember from using dvd2svcd (it's some time ago) the program creates a sync file. In other words the video and audio (mpa in this case) gets edited in some way to make it a sync track. Your original ac3 audio is not edited in any way and this is why you get unsync audio. But if I remember correctly there is a parameter in dvd2svcd that you can set to use the original ac3 audio instead of reencoding to mpa.
