I have a handful of mpeg2 files I have captured at half d1 (352 x 480), and I'd like to put them on a dvd.
How do I get them in a format usable by dvdmaestro?

They r already ready for Maestro. DVD specs allow for half D1 resolution as well as mpeg1 video at quarter D1.

Hmm, I've been playing around with this and DVDMaestro seems to want .m2v and .ac3 or .m2a files. What do I need to do to convert an mpeg-2 file into these formats?
I know this is probably very basic, but the tutorials I've read assume you are ripping a dvd and will end out with these formats after the rip, so they seem to gloss over this part.
Thanks.

demux = splitting the video and audio into two separate files
remux = putting them back together
