HELP: No audio after splitting mpeg files.

I downloaded Taken in mpeg format, they were slightly off 700mb so I had to split them down into 500 and 200.

I used the cut and merge tools I think it was called in TMPG. The resulting split files have no audio in them. Anyone knows what's the problem and how to fix them? I've deleted them off my hdd and the copies on discs are the only ones I have.

Please advise.

i can't find it at the moment but there's a rule somewhere stating yhou're not alowed to talk about downlaoded movies becuase it's illegal. jst informingg you why noone is answering.

It's not illegal unless he explicitly states that the movies he downloaded are copyrighted. For all we know, he could have made the movies himself.

good point. i remember when i mentioned downloading movies (wihtout mentinoing if htey were copyrighted or anything) i got loads of replies and i even got a strike for it.

he said "I downloaded Taken ...." from what i know, all movies/tv shows are copyrighted, if they weren't, i'd being able to download almost whatever i wanted without getting in trouble (if i has a DSL line)

why would anyone download something they made themselves?
