problem with encoding pls help

Ok, so I have encoded a few files lately with no problems. I am using Pinnacle studio 8 to capture stuff from my mini dv camcorder, it encodes it to Mpeg2 and I then encode it with TMPG when I want to put it on an SVCD instead of dvd. Problem is I am trying to put my friends wedding on an svcd and when I go to encode the file it gives me an estimated file size of 0.01 and a 1600 average bitrate and maked the file size 0. I don't get it, it is the same format as the other videos I encoded, and the file size is over 2 gigs. Any help would be appreciated.

Ok, I need some help. I have this 2.2 gig file and I cannot encode it for an SVCD and Nero will not let me burn it onto a dvd because it's over 2 gigs for some reason, says file is to big for iso mode so have to use udf mode, which i tried and it won't play on dvd players. Any help would be appreciated, I must get this video on an SVCD or DVD
