Anybody experienced out there w/flask? I have been blasting my brains out for months trying to figure out how this program works and cannot. I have been using dvd2avi w/tmpgenc thus far and it works great but I want to use flask w/bbmpg only. Any Gardianknot fans out thee do not try to disuade me, I don't care how good it is.
After I've ripped my DVD I have say 5 vobs. I open vob #1, flask recognizes the mpeg and audio streams. I then flask the file. I am then able to put my bit rates/vcd or svcd/16:9 or 4:3 etc.
Anyway, now is the part I want to figure out. Doesn't matter which version.
1.I have 'job1' created on the 'control panel' of flask. whenever I try to open vob#2 and create 'job2' and job#3 etc, etc, it won't create the jobs. What am I doing wrong? do the Vobs all have to be joined or something?

i don't quite understand what your question is actually about, but i'll try to help anyway.
1st, your vobs should all load at once if you have the Thunder Mism or CSS Mism plugin in Flask, unless you rename the vob files.
2nd, flask doesn't have batch mode, those jobs refer to the same file that you are encoding. ex. your encoding Cowboy Bebop disc 1, all the vobs load into flask, but you only want to encode the episodes only and not the intros, credits, and next time, so you mark in/mark out and add the stuff you want to encode to the job list; and then you would have about 4 or 5 jobs.
3rd, only use flask 6 & flask subtiles fix, cause the quality is better that the new versions, but not as fasts.

Thanks for the response. Followed your suggs works fine now, why no thunder mism w/flask?
Anyway, if you have suggs for this?
On Tmpgenc there is a feature on the "main screen" at the bottom "settings" "advanced" tab called "video arrainge method" which allows me to enable "full Screen" on a 16x9 film for the 16x9 tv. It keeps the aspect ratio proper for SVCD.
On the Flask, I am unable to get the picture to reproduce 16x9 in full screen I have tried he "no letterbox" feature; results unuccessful. The bottom line Flask is reproducing the 16x9 but not taking into account for a 16x9 TV so the picture becomes letteerboxed on a 16x9 TV.
feedback appreciated.
